Velveeta Queso Dip with Sausage and Ground Beef (Slow Cooker)
This Slow Cooker Queso Dip is a party favorite! Featuring creamy Velveeta, savory beef, and sausage, it's packed with bold flavors. Just brown the meat, toss everything in the slow cooker, and let it melt into cheesy perfection. Serve warm with tortilla chips for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
1(284g)10.5-ounce can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
1(264g)10-ounce can Rotel tomatoes
3pounds(1360 g)Velveeta - (cubed)
Instructions
Brown the meat: Cook1 pound ground pork sausage, 1 pound ground beef, and 1 small yellow or white onion, finely diced in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Break up the meat, and don't stir until the meat starts to brown. Drain excess grease.
Combine in Slow Cooker: Add browned meat and onion along with 1 7-ounce can green chilies, chopped, 1 10.5-ounce can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, and 1 10-ounce can Rotel tomatoes and 3 pounds Velveetainto a slow cooker. Heat on LOW until cheese is melted (stir occasionally) and leave on LOW in the pot to serve.
Add Cheese & Cook: Cube 3 pounds Velveeta and add it to the slow cooker. Set to LOW and let it melt, stirring occasionally.
Serve and Enjoy: Keep on WARM for serving. Garnish with jalapeños, green onions, or cilantro if desired.
